Caesars Head State Park, along with Jones Gap State Park, make up the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area. This area has one of the richest deciduous forests in the world that provides us quite a diversity of flora and fauna. From the top you can see Paris Mountain, Table Rock, the Greenville Watershed and the city of Greenville. Caesars Head State Park is unique from other parks because it offers visitors a wilderness experience.
A 420-foot waterfall is in the area that hikers can see on the trail. It's one of the tallest falls east of the Mississippi.
Trails take a little more preparation. A day pack and having a map is encouraged. The video offers other recommendations for backpackers.
