One of the most famous divisions that came through the Upcountry was the 30th division. They didn't even fight with the U.S. Army, but were loaned to the British. This division is really well known because, in 1918, they managed to break the Hindenburg line. Breaking the German's line of defense marked the beginning of the end for the country's military presence in Belgium and France.
