Sea Change, Part 2 - Diving Deeper - Episode 2

Kaltura

Damage from rising water levels and storms can be seen with the naked eye, but how far does the damage really go? How much do these changes impact peoples’ daily lives, along with the environment?

This segment elaborates on health issues caused by the changes in the climate, such as water levels, and increases in temperature. These ailments include respiratory diseases, digestive diseases, and strokes, as well as affecting those pre-existing conditions.  The increase in mosquito populations, and the spread of the Zika virus, is another result of the changes in the climate.
