At Historic Battonsville, reenactors brings back the Battle of Huck's Defeat. Huck's Defeat was a battle during the American Revolutionary War that occurred in York County, South Carolina on July 12, 1780. This was one of the first battles of the southern campaign to be won by Patriot militia.
