Oconee has events! In addition to being located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, there are festivals going on all the time. Westminster has the Apple Festival and Mayberry Days. In Walhalla, there's Octoberfest, and in Seneca, it's the SenecaFest. In Long Creek, a new festival called the Chatooga River Festival will be starting. It's a mountain town with great people who are neighborly and want to serve the community, and introduce them to the various cultures, so there is always something being created.
