The Battle of Guilford Courthouse was fought on March 15, 1781, but on March 13, 2016, in Greensboro, N.C., the National Military Park dedicated the Crown Forces Monument, to recognize all of the British soldiers who fought and died in the Battle. The Monument acknowledges their sacrifice in war but will also better enable the park to educate its visitors.
