The Basics

Ballistics - Ballistics is the study of the motion of projectiles.

Gravity - Gravity is the force exerted by all objects having mass on all other objects having mass.

Height - Height is the vertical distance traveled by the projectile.

Projectile - A projectile is a body, which is propelled with some initial velocity, and then acted upon by the force of gravity.

Range - Range is the horizontal distance traveled by the projectile.

Trajectory - Trajectory is the path followed by a projectile.

Velocity - Velocity is the rate at which an object changes position.
