In the center of small-town Yemassee, S.C. is a train depot that is full of character and history. Between 1915 and 1965, the train depot served as the Marine Corps gateway to Parris Island and saw more than 500,000 recruits come through the station. Now the Yemassee Revitalization Corporation is working to preserve this unique fixture in the community.
