Teacher to McDonald's Franchise Owner
Willis Langley was a school teacher for three years. He always wanted to be able to meet and talk to different people every day which made his next career move perfect for him. He started working as a manager trainee at McDonald's. Over the years, he climbed the corporate ladder to become the operation manager for 22 McDonald's restaurants.
Willis and his wife, Clara were the first African American couple to purchase a McDonald's in the city of Columbia.
