They Were Here: Ice Age Humans In SC, Part 1 - Episode 1

Archaeologists from the University of South Carolina’s Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology made a key discovery: ancient stone tools indicating that Ice Age humans lived here in South Carolina thousands of years before previously thought.   Within days of this discovery, the story captured national and international attention, and heightened the controversy of when and how human beings first came into our hemisphere.
