On this episode of NatureScene, Rudy and Jim visit Sumter National Forest. This area offers a wide variety of habitats, and springtime is the best time to visit these rolling hills.

Here at the flood plain of the Enoree District, Sourwood trees, along with oak and hickory trees thrive. Clusters of Foam flowers, Trillium, Bellwort, Giant Chickweed, Solomon’s Seal, Yellow Stargrass, Pinxter flowers, and Maple Leaf viburnum explode with life during the springtime.
