Janet’s sculptural work weaves together elements of several modern art forms briefly described below:
Installation Art: Artworks that alter or enhance our experience of the place in which the work resides.
Found Object: Art that incorporates objects and materials originally created or manufactured for a use outside the artist’s vision. Objects are often arranged or presented in a way that separates them from their original purpose or context.
Assemblage: A conglomeration or arrangement of found objects put together to create a new three-dimensional structure.
Ephemeral art: Temporary art that is susceptible to decay and the elements, and thus changes over time.
