Sean O'Neal is the captain at Station #30 of the Lexington County Fire Service. O'Neal is in charge of scheduling the firefighters under his supervision, as well as providing support.

The steps to become a firefighter include a physical agility test after applying online. Once you pass the test, you are scheduled an interview and if selected, applicants must take another more comprehensive physical. If selected after a second interview, applicants can start recruit school.

"No day is the same. The adrenaline of going lights and sirens down a crowded street and the opportunity to help people, just everyday is different."
