Originally built as a farmhouse in the 1800s, Joye Cottage is now a sixty room mansion located in beautiful Aiken, South Carolina. Personally owned by Steven Naifeh and Gregory Smith, both Pulitzer Prize winning authors, the home has seen many renovations to preserve its history. The questions concerning the future of the cottage led to a partnership with Juilliard, and it now promotes art in the community with the festival "Juilliard in Aiken."
