Dr. Wil Lou Gray | Idella Bodie's SC Women (FULL VERSION)

This program in the series tells the story of Dr. Wil Lou Gray who began the South Carolina Opportunity School. The program follows her from the time that she was a young girl struggling with the loss of her dear mother through Dr. Gray's valiant efforts to get the Legislature to fund schooling for illiterate adults and children. Through the interview with Dr. Gray, taped by ETV, we hear her passion for helping others learn while we learn about what life was like during the early 1900's for many South Carolinians.
