CONGAREE SWAMP STORIES CAMP WORKSHOP SPEAKER

Adventures in Hunting and Dressing Wild Game, Including Lessons on How to Butcher a Hog and Fillet a Fish, as well as Red Versus Black River Swamps, Swamp Guts, and Tree Farming

As a member of the Cedar Creek Hunt Club, and a park neighbor, Dr. Robert Taylor spent many years fishing and hunting in the Congaree. Dr. Taylor attended the University of South Carolina, and the Charleston Medical School studying internal medicine. While finishing education requirements at North Carolina Baptist Hospital he became interested in neurology. He was the first neurologist in his home town of Columbia starting in 1967. Communing with nature allows him to totally relax and unwind. Since retiring in 2000, he farms the fertile lands near the Congaree and Wateree Rivers.
