Dall Sheep are found roaming the mountains located within the interior region of Alaska.  This species of sheep is native to Alaska, and are also found in some parts of Canada. Bighorn Sheep are also native to the U.S., but are found further down south. Sheep native to the more northern regions are going to have white fur. Their white fur provides camouflage during the winter months, and their preference for steep mountain faces keep predators away.
