Malcolm Miller has an impressive collection of slides of Chartres Cathedral. In this segment, Miller shows a few slides, and explains the significance of each one, to illustrate the cathedral’s mystique. Some of the things he elaborates on are the cathedral’s construction, medieval history, architecture, and art, such as original stained glass windows.  Another distinguishing feature of Chartres, like most other cathedrals of the period, is that it was built around a holy relic. The original relic, known as the Sancta Camisia, is still there to this day.
