Charleston Celebrates Its Culinary Culture

BB&T Charleston Wine and Food Festival is held annually in Charleston as a way of celebrating the chefs and cuisine of the area. Cathryn Zommer, director of Communications for the festival, talks about the importance of sharing Lowcountry cuisine with people not only in South Carolina, but throughout the world. She also discusses scholarships that are made available for study in the culinary arts in the Charleston area.
