Anne Worsham Richardson discusses growing up in Turbeville, South Carolina. Richardson always showed a love for animals, even from an early age. Richardson got her start by doing drawings of domestic animals, and gradually shifted to wildlife as the years went by. An injury Richardson experienced during her childhood was the cause of her transitioning from drawings to paintings. Richardson takes children on tours through her home, and shows visitors the bird sanctuary she keeps, where she rehabilitates injured wild birds.
