From Africa to the White House is a 3 part series that traces the journey of enslaved Africans from the regions of West Africa to America. It covers slavery, reconstruction and the Civil Rights Bill among other notable topics. Also included in this presentation are various and sundry personalities who have made substantial contributions to African American history. There is so much more to know and learn about the history of Black Americans. The format and language are simple and straight forward, and should be considered a basic introduction to Black History for elementary aged students.
