Mrs. Jovita Cordova is originally from Mexico. She now resides in Lexington County, South Carolina where she continues a tradition she learned from her mother in Mexico.

She learned to crochet when she was ten years old by watching her and has since taught it to many friends. She uses crochet needles and a variety of types of yarn for her projects.
