Working outside in involves finding some external inspiration and internalizing that into an artistic performance.An actor and vocal coach, Erica Tobolski is on the faculty of the Department of Theater and Dance at the University of South Carolina, where she teaches voice and acting and performs onstage and in voice-overs. She has coached voice/dialects at the 2000 Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespearean Festival, Charlotte Repertory Theatre, Purdue University, Ball State University, the University of South Carolina and Trustus and Workshop Theatres in South Carolina. In this “Meet An Artist” segment we learn about Tobolski’s life and technique, and see her in two very different acting roles.
