Russian Cuisine

Mrs. Tatyana Bromberg came to South Carolina from Russia in 2000. She resides in Lexington County but preserves traditions from her home country, especially cooking, recipes, and stories. Mrs. Bromberg enjoys cooking golubtsy (stuffed cabbage rolls), pelmeni (dumplings), and borscht (beet root soup). She has been cooking all her life and learned from watching her mother. She teaches her daughter these traditional recipes over holidays and is associated with the Gilbert Library.
