Antonia Nava
Pinata Making
Ms. Antonia Nava began making piñatas when she was just seven years old in Guanjuato, Mexico. She learned the art from her mother and uses balloons, newspaper, homemade glue, tissue paper, and thread to make the piñatas. She has been teaching the art to her children for several years and prepares piñatas for community events and parties in Lexington County, where she currently resides. She makes a pinata for the "Feliz Navidad" party at the Lexington County Library every year.
