Quilting

Mrs. Elizabeth James Wallace is a quilter from Chesterfield, South Carolina. She learned how to sew and make quilts from her mother when she was about eight years old. She currently quilts with wholecloth and pieced tops using a large wooden standing frame, which her brother built for her. Her brother, Jadie, also helps her pin together pieces of quilt tops before she sews them. She mostly makes her quilts as gifts for friends and family, though she has sold some over the years.
