Jesse Brown
Country Musician
Mr. Jesse Brown is a musician originally from Covington, Georgia. He and his family moved to South Carolina in 1989. Although he was a child when he moved to South Carolina, he had already been practicing music for years. His father began teaching him at home when he was only three years old. He currently plays the guitar, drums, bass guitar, and banjo and enjoys playing predominantly country music. Not only does Jesse play music, he has also taught others. In 2003, Jesse was stationed in Iraq for a year. During this time he taught a friend, and fellow soldier, to play the guitar. He is also continuing the family tradition by teaching his son to play the guitar. He enjoys sharing his talents with the community in Anderson County. Once a month, he and fellow musicians play at a local community center and has also played at the Belton Area Museum.
